The Canadians Are Coming!

Whisper it softly, but Canada could soon have her first Wimbledon singles champion. Tantalisingly close on two recent occasions, it seems the long wait for glory could almost be over.

DENIS AND FELIX

One of the great sensations of Wimbledon 2021 was Denis Shapovalov. His electric run took him all the way to the semi-finals on Centre Court. It didn't quite happen for Denis in 2022 but we know he is capable of going all the way at the All England Club.

The same can be said of another brilliant young Canadian star, Felix Auger Aliassime. Felix was a Wimbledon quarter-finalist in 2021 and a US Open semi-finalist that same year.

He broke into the top ten in 2022 and beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in Rotterdam to land his first ATP Tour title.

What will 2023 hold for Denis and Felix? Time is on their side and it feels like Wimbledon glory is just around the corner.
